Four Seasons Karate embraces 3 codes:
1. Respect Respect
for self, humanity, places and posessions. Humanity is unique and each individual is unique among all others. Four Seasons
recognizes this uniqueness and celebrates the value of each individual.
2. Maximum Mental & Physical Effort Meditation
at the opening of each class clears the mind of any outside distractions and stresses of the day that could interfere
with karate training. Students are asked to open their minds exclusively to Tang Soo Do and perform each
technique with full physical and mental effort. Through power, focus and performing each technique effectively, students develop
the ability to imprint karate in their mind's memory and body's memory.
3. Flexibility Flexibility must be practiced in all aspects
of living. Rigidity in attitude and approach in handling a situation can only slow one's growth and impede progress
toward total awareness of oneself and the world.
